The FABULOUS 3 STAR CARLTON HOTEL has stunning views across Torbay from its Riviera ballroom, it is interlinked with covered walkways to its sister hotels The Victoria, The Derwent and The Toorak, and is situated on Falkland Road a 10 minute walk to the sea front past Torre Abbey gardens.

 

We are booked on a DRINKS INCLUSIVE DEAL which offers FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Carlton Hotel from 5.30 p.m. until your Evening Meal and then after your meal, FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Carlton or in the Starlight Lounge in the Derwent Hotel, UNTIL 11.00 P.M.

 

DRINKS INCLUSIVE offers draught bitter & lager, house spirits, red and white house wines and a selection of soft drinks, PLUS 4 nights Bed, English/Continental Breakfast and 3 courses with choices Evening Meal, plus Tea or Coffee afterwards.   Rooms are Twin, Double or Single Rooms (NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR SINGLE ROOMS but only 6 available) in the Carlton Hotel which has a lift to all floors.

Facilities in any of the hotels may be used and these comprise of 2 heated indoor swimming pools, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.  The Aztec Bistro overlooks the inside swimming pools and serves meals, drinks and snacks all day.  The Arena Games Room has a 10 pin bowling alley, billiard, snooker and pool tables, tables tennis and darts.

All bedrooms are fitted with bathrooms, although in some rooms the washbasin is set in a unit in the bedroom with the toilet , bath and shower in the bathroom.  All bedrooms in the hotel can be reached by a lift and have coloured T.V., telephone radio, teas-maker with plenty of FREE tea and coffee.   Bingo is in the Starlight Lounge in the Derwent Hotel every night from 8.15 p.m. to 9.15 p.m. followed by an evening of entertainment and on certain nights there is a guest artist.  

In the Albert's Bar which is underneath the Victoria Hotel, pub lunches are available throughout the day.  There is also a Ladies Hairdressers and The Aztec Spa beauty rooms with trained therapists.

MONDAY  -  We travel by executive coach with toilet and washroom, drinks facilities, making a comfort stop at a Services, then a further stop which will give you time for lunch.   We should arrive at the Carlton Hotel mid afternoon and on arrival whilst we are filling in our room key details, the porter will take our luggage to our rooms.  

FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Carlton Hotel before your evening meal, then after your meal, FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Carlton and from the bars in the Derwent Hotel, where Bingo will be played, followed by a full evening of entertainment until 11.00 p.m.

 

TUESDAY  -  Breakfast in the hotels restaurant. Today is a FREE DAY to enjoy yourself. Bus passes can be used on any of the buses.

Afternoon tea and biscuits can be taken in the Derwent hotel. FREE PRE-DINNER DRINKS from the bar in the Carlton Hotel, then after your meal, FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Carlton and the bars in the Derwent Hotel, where Bingo will be played, followed by a full evening of entertainment until 11.00 p.m.

 

WEDNESDAY  -  Breakfast in the Hotels restaurant and we meet the coach after breakfast for our day excursion touring the beautiful Devon countryside and calling at NEWTON ABBOT, visit the indoor and outdoor market or just explore the shops, then on to TOTNES which is an oldy worldy Devon town with quaint streets to explore.   We then carry on our tour and on to PAIGNTON, which has a lovely promenade and a pier.   From here we return to the Hotel. 

FREE PRE-DINNER DRINKS from the bar in the Carlton Hotel, then after your meal, FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Carlton and the bars in the Derwent Hotel, where Bingo will be played, followed by a full evening of entertainment until 11.00 p.m.

 

THURSDAY  -  Breakfast in the hotels restaurant.  

Today is a FREE DAY to enjoy yourself.  Use your bus pass and visit Brixham or Babbacombe or just relax round the Hotel.  

Afternoon tea and biscuits in the Derwent hotel.   FREE PRE-DINNER DRINKS from the bar in the Carlton Hotel, then after your meal, FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Carlton and the bars in the Derwent Hotel, where Bingo will be played, followed by a full evening of entertainment until 11.00 p.m.

 

FRIDAY  -  Breakfast in the hotels restaurant and we depart from the hotel to commence our journey home.

A stop will be made at a service where lunch may be taken, and a further stop will be made near home, so the driver will give arrival home times and passengers who wish to be met can telephone home.

 

PRICE FOR THIS DRINKS INCLUSIVE 5 DAY TOUR IS:  £341.00 per person sharing Twin or Double Rooms.  Single Rooms have no Extra Charge and we have 6 available, (we now have only 1 Single Room left to sell) staying at the Carlton Hotel, Half Board, and inclusive drinks as detailed above.  

Included in the price is 1 day excursion and return coach fare.

 

All seats are booked to plan.  Our coach has hand sanitisers, a fogging machine and Hispacold Eco 3 Air Purifier which eliminates viruses including SARS-Cov-2, micro organisms, germs and allergens.   

 

DEPOSITS are £50.00 per person, with full payment 6 weeks prior to departure.
