BOURNEMOUTH FIVE DAY

PRE-CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS

 

Monday, 16 November  -  Friday, 20 November, 2026.

 

Staying at the DURLEY DEAN HOTEL, Bournemouth. The Durley Dean Hotel is a historic Victorian townhouse hotel which offers bright and modern rooms which help to make you feel at home.  Each bedroom has air conditioning, flat screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, bathroom with hair dryer.  The bedrooms are Twin, Double and Single with no extra supplement for Single Rooms.   A lift goes to all floors.  The hotel has a swimming pool, sauna and gym, the No. 28 restaurant provides a wide range of delicious locally sourced British Cuisine meals, we are booked in for Full English Breakfast and 3 courses with 3 choices Evening Meal, followed by Tea or Coffee, and the lounge bar offers various choices of drinks.  The hotel is well placed just a short walk to the shops, town centre and the pier.

 

In this Pre-Christmas Celebrations Package are included 1 night’s live entertainment, 

1 night’s dancing plus bingo and/or a quiz, themed days i.e. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day, with themed meals.   Tea/coffee and biscuits in the lounge on 2 afternoons, Cream Tea one afternoon, Mince Pies and tea/coffee one afternoon.

 

We will be given the days these will be served nearer the time, so our days out may alter slightly.

 

MONDAY  -  We travel via the motorway in our Executive coach with toilet, washroom and drink facilities, making a comfort stop at a service’s, then a further stop at a services where we can have lunch, and we should arrive at THE DURLEY DEAN HOTEL, mid afternoon, whilst we are checking in, our luggage will be taken up to our bedrooms. Evening meal in the restaurant.  

 

TUESDAY  -  Breakfast in the restaurant, and today is a FREE DAY for you to explore Bournemouth at your own pace. Evening meal in the restaurant.

WEDNESDAY  -  We meet the coach for our excursion travelling through SANDBANKS to the ferry which will take us all of 5 minutes across to SHELL BAY on STUDLAND, from here we go via CORFE CASTLE to SWANAGE, where we will stop giving us time for coffee and a shop.  

 

We return via the ferry and make our way to POOLE HARBOUR, where we will have time to wander the shops, try and find something different for Christmas presents.

 

THURSDAY  -  Today’s excursion is to WEYMOUTH. This popular holiday resort has a lovely flat promenade with a magnificent Georgian seafront, which is dotted with colourful beach huts.  

 

Visit the historic working harbour and watch the boats coming and going. Then of course there is Retail Therapy, plenty of shops in the quaint town, and plenty of places to have something to eat, or just a coffee and cake.

 

FRIDAY  - We meet the coach, after breakfast and commence our journey home.    A stop will be made at a services, giving you time to have lunch.  A further stop, nearer home will be made when the driver will give arrival home times so passengers who wish to be met can telephone.

 

PRICE FOR THIS 5 DAY TOUR IS:   £539.00 per person in Twin, Double, Single Rooms in the Durley Dean Hotel.   NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR SINGLE ROOMS.   

 

Price includes return coach fare and ALL day excursions, NO HIDDEN EXTRAS.

 

Bookings are taken over the telephone, followed by £50.00 per person deposit, paid by bank transfer or cheque.  With final payment 6 weeks prior to departure date.
