THE  GOLDEN JUBILEE  HOTEL, Clydebank, Near Glasgow  is a  4 STAR  DELUXE HOTEL,

(formally The Beardmore Hotel)  which is in the same complex as the world famous NHS International Medical Centre.


This  Hotel has 165 Deluxe Bedrooms and you will find the Hotels quiet and tranquil atmosphere ensures that your stay is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.  

The panoramic views over the River Clyde make the Lounge Bar and Restaurant an ideal venue in which to relax.  


The spacious en suite bedrooms provide guests with comfortable and relaxing facilities including individually controlled air condition, television with a wide variety of satellite channels, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee tray.


The hotels gardens and promenades provide an ideal place for visitors to stroll along the banks of the River Clyde or simply sit and enjoy the view and soak up the sun.

Take time to relax in the Fitness and Leisure Club, where you can swim in the heated indoor pool, exercise in the Fitness Suite, relax in the Jacuzzi and Sauna.    

The hotel has a lift to all 4 floors.  

We are booked in for two nights, Bed, Scottish Breakfast and Evening Dinner.   

FRIDAY  -  We travel via the motorways by executive coach, with toilet, washroom, hostess service and drinks facilities and drinks can be purchased throughout your journey. We will make a comfort stop for 30 minutes at a services, then we continue our journey to Cathedral City of CARLISLE.  


We stop here for 2 hours, which will give you time to purchase some lunch and have a good look around

SATURDAY  -  Help yourself to full Scottish Breakfast in the Hotel's restaurant, and after breakfast we depart for our day exploring Scotland, travelling through Loch Lomond National Park

Our first stop will be at LOCH LOMOND, where we will take a 1 hours sail on the Loch, after our sail we will visit LOCH LOMOND SHORES for some retail therapy where you will find many famous stores, including Jenners and they also have a lovely Cafe , sit outside and watch the activities on the Loch.   From here we travel by the side of Loch Lomond and then across to the Victorian seaside town of HELENSBURGH.  

It has a lovely flat promenade, a pier and beautiful seafront gardens, plus many independent shops, restaurants and cafes. 


From here we return to out hotel, and evening dinner in the restaurant.

SUNDAY  -  Breakfast in the hotels restaurant, and after breakfast we lead the coach and make our way to AUCHENTOSHAN WHISKEY DISTILLERY, where we will take in a guided tour of this distillery, which makes single malt, triple distilled whiskey.   After the tour we will sample a taster. 


We continue our journey and we will make a short stop of MOFFAT, which is famous for the statue of The Ram.  

This vibrant, bustling town has many shops, cafes, restaurants and of course The Edinburgh Woollen Mill, which doubles as the coach park, and you will be able to purchase lunch here.  

We will continue on our journey home, making a short stop at a service station when the driver will give arrival home times so passengers who wish to be met can telephone home.

Estimated arrival home is between 7.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. approximately, depending on traffic and where you boarded the coach. 


PRICE PER PERSON:   £240 in Queen Doubles, Twin Rooms which consist of 1 Queen size bed and 1 sofa bed.

Queen single rooms price:   £290.

return executive coach, seats booked to plan,

all excursions and coach transfers as stated

plus sail on Loch Lomond and entrance to Auchentoshan Distillery, services of a courier. 

Bookings can be made over the telephone when a deposit of £50.00 per person must be paid to secure the booking.   Payment can be made by Bank transfer or Cheque. 


INSURANCE:   it is advisable to take out your own insurance to cover for cancellation due to illness.
