MONDAY  -  We meet the coach after breakfast for our day excursion to SANDRINGHAM HOUSE AND GARDENS.

Sandringham House is a beautiful country retreat for the British Royal Family, and has been the private home of five generations of British Monarchs.  Once described as the most comfortable house in England, the House has remained a place where members of the Royal Family enjoy relaxing and country pursuits, and is traditionally where they spend Christmas.  As you wander round the rooms, there are knowledgeable guides who can answer questions on the House.

The Gardens have been developed in turn by each Monarch and they are enjoyed by the Royal Family and their guests, when in residence.   The most recent work has been undertaken to add the Topiary Garden and Lower Maze Garden.   You can explore these beautiful gardens at your leisure.

We meet the coach later in the day for our return journey back to our hotel.  Evening Dinner in the Restaurant.

TUESDAY  -  We meet the coach after breakfast for our day excursion first stopping at Holt to catch the NORTH NORFOLK RAILWAY POPPY LINE, which is one of the UK’s most scenic heritage railway journeys.   Board your train of beautifully restored carriages, settle into your seat, listen for the sound of the guard’s whistle, then see and hear the whoosh of steam as the train sets off through the beautiful countryside to SHERINGHAM.

Our coach will meet us at Sheringham Station and we then travel the short journey to CROMER where we spend the afternoon.   Cromer is a traditional seaside town with everything you need, including a Victorian  pier, promenade and of course shops and is famous for seafood delicacy Cromer Crab.    Evening Dinner in the restaurant.

WEDNESDAY  -  We meet the coach after breakfast for our day excursion, we travel through the beautiful Norfolk countryside to the famous seaside town of GREAT YARMOUTH.    This seaside town famous for it’s traditional seaside charm, is well known for 15 miles of unspoilt sandy beaches, donkey rides, entertainment, Britannia Pier, wide sea front and beautiful gardens and a covered market and today is market day.

After spending time here we travel on to Horning for our relaxing 1 ½ hour sail by a Mississippi River Boat on the Norfolk Broads.   Throughout the trip there is excellent commentary from the skipper and continual pointing out of all the wildlife around at the time.   The upper deck has inside and outside seating and provides excellent views across the reed beds.   The lower deck has a plush lounge inside, along with an onboard bar, toilets and there is outside seating as well.   Evening Dinner in the restaurant.
