EXPLORING WALES, TENBY
and the GOWER PENINSULA

Staying at the fabulous 3 Star DIPLOMAT HOTEL AND SPA, Llanelli, which is located about 1 mile from the centre of Llanelli. The Hotel is family run which offers charm, warmth and generous hospitality. The Hotel was built in 1810 and today, its bedrooms feature stylish décor and modern features. Each room has a T.V., hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities and free wifi.
We are booked in on Bed, Full Welsh Breakfast and Evening Dinner which consist of a choice of 3 starters, choice of 4 mains and a choice of 3 desserts, followed by Tea or Coffee.
The hotel has a few ground floor bedrooms and some rooms with walk-in showers, but these do have to be booked when booking. There is a Single Room Supplement and this is for either a twin bedded room or a double bedded room. The Hotel has a lift to all floors, but some rooms are still accessed via some steps. There is 2 nights entertainment.
THURSDAY - Pickups overleaf and we travel via the motorway. A comfort stops will be made and we should arrive at our Hotel late afternoon. On arrival tea/coffee will be served whilst our luggage is taken to our rooms. Evening meal in the restaurant.
FRIDAY - Welsh Breakfast in the restaurant, and after breakfast we meet our coach and make our way to The Gower Heritage Centre, which includes entrance to the Centre and a guided tour of the mill which takes about 30 minutes. We then meet our guide and our coach for our coach guided highlights tour of the Gower Peninsula, which will take approximately 2 hours.
SATURDAY - Today we meet the coach, after breakfast and spend the morning in Llanelli where you will have chance to explore and do some shopping. In the afternoon we make our way to THE NATIONAL BOTANIC GARDENS OF WALES. Here you will find an inspiring range of themed gardens, the worlds largest Single-span glasshouse, orchid filled meadows, a Nature Reserve, Bird of Prey Centre. The gardens centrepiece is the Great Glasshouse. Inside the tilted glass dome is a Mediterranean landscape dominated by a 6 metre deep ravine. Rock faces and sheer faces are cut by streams and waterfalls. You can experience the aftermath of an Australian bush fire, pause in a Spanish olive grove or wander through collections of fuchias from Chile. Evening meal in the Hotel’s restaurant.
SUNDAY -
After breakfast we meet our coach and we head for TENBY, where we spend the day.
Tenby is one of Wales top seaside towns with 3 sandy beaches and a small harbour. The town centre has quirky shops and plenty of places to eat and drink. Evening meal in the Hotel’s restaurant.
MONDAY - We meet the coach, after breakfast and we commence our return journey home making some comfort stops.
PRICE PER PERSON sharing a Twin or Double Bedded Room: £610.00 each.
Single Rooms when a Twin or Double Bedded Room will be used: £722.00.
Deposit required is £50.00 per person, by cheque or bank transfer, and full payment 6 weeks prior to departure date.
